Wind Band Directory
This directory has been compiled for the benefit of adult wind bands. We hope it will enable musicians looking for a local band to find one and encourage communication between wind bands. The administration is done by volunteers and outside assistance will be appreciated.

Wind Band Library
The WBA Music Library is a substantial collection of nearly 500 works for wind band dating back some 100 years and is an exemplary resource for musicians, bands, and researchers. Many of the pieces are not only out of copyright but also out of print, and therefore needing careful control.
In order to ensure the collection remains intact, rules for the loan of parts and complete sets needs to be devised and adhered to, taking into account all the differing types of copyright.
The loan of music must be in line with the type of Association membership of the requesting party: Individual Member – individual parts; or Band Representative – full band sets.
Lending Rules:
- Copyright law will be respected in all matters.
- Individual parts will be photocopied/scanned and sent to the recipient. A nominal fee to cover printing & postage will be applied.
- Full band sets will, if possible, be photocopied/scanned and sent to the band. A nominal fee to cover printing & postage will be applied. If photocopying and scanning are not feasible, a deposit for the safe return of the music will be required.
- All original parts and full band sets must be returned within three months or a late fee will be charged.
